Shawn G. Edwards - Business Advisor and Lending

Shawn is a Chartered Professional Accountant, CPA, CMA,  and a B.Sc. from UBC specializing in Earth and Environmental Sciences. He has over 15 years of financial and business experience with a wide range of industry understanding (Finance, Manufacturing, Mining and Technology). Jessie Rivest - Program Administrator

Jessie brings a background in arts administration, real estate and communications to her role as Program Administrator. She also works as a leadership facilitator in Kelowna and abroad. At Community Futures Jessie can be relied on to provide strong administrative and entrepreneur support to loan clients and participants in the Self Employment and business start-up programs.

Raeanne Anderson - Export Navigator Advisor

With over 20 years of export experience, Raeanne is highly accomplished in the exporting world. She’s worked alongside international agrifood industry powerhouses helping them expand their markets. Whether it was contract negotiations, logistical problem solving, or networking at tradeshows and conferences, she has seen and done it all. Being fluent in both Spanish and English allowed her to connect companies with global customers in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. She also helped these companies understand and comply with rigid quality control regulations when crossing borders. Raeanne’s knowledge of exporting’s complexities lends itself to assisting businesses in a clear, concise way.

Gelly Gnissios - Business Advisor

Gelly is a seasoned entrepreneur, business strategist, and investor with more than 25 years of experience building, leading, and advising organizations across multiple sectors. He holds an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School (London) and has served as a director, board advisor and senior executive for multiple public and private companies. Tana Plewes - Business Advisor

Tana is a business transformation strategist and founder of the Discovery Centre and CFDCCO Consultant for the Business Plan Development Program. With roots in family business, marine operations, and community economic development, Tana brings over 25 years of experience helping leaders build resilient, people-powered enterprises. Tana holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership and a Professional Certificate in Advanced Facilitation Practices from Royal Roads University, a program that emphasizes Indigenous knowledge, decolonization, and reconciliation as outlined by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Jeet Panghali - Business Advisor

Jeet provides valuable process and systems driven accounting services to CFDCCO and other key organizations in the Central Okanagan. Her accounting knowledge and systems development structuring during our Business Plan Development Program provides participants with a solid foundation to build their businesses.

MJ is a valuable 30+ year associate of the CFDCCO. With a strong family business background and business degree specializing in accounting, she provides valuable business counselling, support and instruction to the CFDCCO programs.
